Most sizing mistakes happen before you order, when a tape goes around the wrong part of your waist. This takes about five minutes. You need a soft measuring tape, a mirror, and the undergarments you plan to wear with the dress.
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your chest. Keep the tape parallel to the floor all the way around your back. Check in the mirror, since the back is where the tape slips.
Waist
Bend sideways like a teapot. The crease that forms is your natural waist. Measure around that line, snug but not tight. Your natural waist usually sits higher than the waistband of your jeans.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips, usually just below the hip bone. Stand with your feet together.
Length
Our dress lengths are measured from the highest point of the shoulder seam straight down to the hem. Compare that number to your own shoulder-to-floor length to see where a dress will land on you.

Dresses in numeric sizes (00 to 34) carry their own chart on the product page. Some styles have a chart specific to that dress, so always check the product page before ordering.
When you're between two sizes
- Fitted, boned, or corset bodice: size up. You can take in a corset back. You can't let out a seam.
- Elastic sleeves, stretch fabric, or an adjustable tie: go with your bust measurement.
- Your measurements land in different sizes: size for the part of your body that the dress fits closest. For most of our styles, that's the bust and waist.
- The product page has a fit note: follow it. We write "size up" or "consider sizing down" when a style runs off the chart.
Common questions
Should I measure over clothes?
No. Measure over the undergarments you'll wear with the dress, or over a thin layer at most.
Are your charts body or garment measurements?
Body measurements. Compare them to your own numbers directly.
Does the price change by size?
No. Every size is the same price.
